How do you teach French for beginner children?

I teach with humor and positivity, that’s why your child will feel immediately comfortable speaking French.

Moreover, I know how to explain French grammar, pronunciation in English, so your child will understand everything!

I use French textbooks written in English.

In the lesson I translate and write all the French words into English.

Everything will be immediately understandable and your child will speak French quickly –

I can also teach French in Russian and I speak a little Bulgarian!

How long does a French lesson last?

A French lesson lasts either 30 or 60 minutes.

Are the French classes individual or group sessions?

I offer both one-on-one lessons and small group classes for 2 to 3 people.

Do you only teach French online?

I mainly teach French online, but I also offer in-person lessons in Le Havre, Normandy, where I live.

How do you prepare for the DELF?

I use official DELF tests from previous years to assess your current language level and determine the tasks needed for preparation.

How to prepare for the DELF on your own?

DELF tasks do not include grammar questions.

They relate to everyday situations in France: understanding articles, listening to people speaking, writing letters, expressing your opinion…

Therefore, I recommend reading French newspapers, watching French TV channels, movies, and series.

How do you prepare for the AP French exam?

I utilize past official AP French exam tests to evaluate your current language proficiency and identify the necessary preparation tasks.

How to prepare for the AP French exam on your own?

The AP French exam does not feature specific grammar questions.

To prepare effectively, immerse yourself in the language by reading French newspapers, watching French TV channels, movies, and series, and consistently practicing both writing and speaking in French.

Additionally, consider engaging in conversations with native French speakers and using language learning apps to enhance your proficiency.

The purchased French lessons are valid indefinitely!

You can take the lessons whenever you like!

Can I get a refund for purchased French lessons?

While I’m confident in the quality of my French lessons, I’ll gladly refund any unused lessons if you prefer.

I offer a free 15-minute trial French lesson!

My son (a teenager) has been training with Gurvan since February of this year. He moved to a new school where the second foreign language is French. My son (almost from scratch) needs to catch up this year with his classmates who have been learning the language for four years now. And he does very well with Gurvan. I highly recommend French Teachers' lessons! It was a great pleasure to start learning French language with teacher Gurvan! He is patient, explains things in an easy to understand manner. J'ai vraiment aimé les cours de français avec le professeur Gurvan. C'est le meilleur professeur! Шетел тілді меңгеру қаншалықты жеңіл бола алатынын Гурван сабақтарында түсінуге болады. Гурван өзі де жан-жақты болуға, жаңа шетел тілдерін үйренуге өте ынталы. Уроки преподавателя Гурвана проходили по интересной методике с погружением в общение на французском языке. При этом, нюансы по грамматике и лексике разъяснялись преподавателем сразу. Большой плюс был в том, что фразы и слова, которые сложно было понять на французском и английском языках, преподаватель Гурван объяснял и на русском языке, так как знает его в совершенстве. J'ai le privilège de travailler avec Gurvan depuis plusieurs années, notamment dans l'édition de ses vidéos, ses cartes cadeaux (dont je fournis quelques photos) et de son livre exceptionnel. Ayant assisté à plusieurs de ses cours, je peux attester de son approche innovante, de son enthousiasme et de la qualité irréprochable de ses leçons, particulièrement adaptées aux enfants. Нашему 9 летнему сыну нужно было за лето изучить французский язык с нуля, чтоб он мог осенью чувствовать себя достаточно свободно во французском колледже. Мы обратились к Гурвану. Занятия длились 3 месяца. В настоящее время начались уроки в школе и ребёнок может уверенно объясниться на французском и понимает очень многое из того, что говорят учителя и другие дети.
