Children
At what age do you start teaching French to children?
Generally, I teach French to children starting from age 10, and it works very well!
I can also teach French online to children aged 7 to 10, as long as they already know some French and can use a computer.
How do you teach French for beginner children?
I teach with humor and positivity, that’s why your child will feel immediately comfortable speaking French.
“La maman de Toto lui demande. (lah mahmahn duh toto lwee duhmahnd) Toto’s mother asks him.
Alors, Toto, tu aimes l’école ? (ahlor toto tew ehm laykohl) So, Toto, do you like school?
Oui, mais c’est long entre les récréations ! (wee meh seh lohn ahntr lay raykrayahsyohn) Yes, but it’s a long time between the breaks!”
(These letters are not pronounced!)
I know how to explain French grammar, pronunciation in English, so your child will understand everything!
I use French textbooks written in English.
In the lesson I translate and write all the French words into English.
Everything will be immediately understandable and your child will speak French quickly –
…maybe too quickly!
Exams
Which French exams do you prepare for?
I prepare students for French exams such as the DELF, TEF, FIDE, and AP French exam.
I can also help with other exams according to your needs. Contact me!
What is the DELF?
The DELF is an internationally recognized official French diploma that certifies proficiency in the language.
It consists of 4 levels: A1 (beginner), A2 (elementary), B1 (intermediate), and B2 (advanced).
Each level assesses different language competencies: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking.
Obtaining the DELF creates opportunities for education and career advancement in French-speaking countries.
Many universities require a B2 level for admission, and employers frequently acknowledge this certification as proof of French language proficiency.
Why should you prepare for the DELF exam with a native French teacher?
To succeed in this exam, you need not only to know French—reading, understanding, and speaking it—but also to understand life in France.
As a teacher from France, I provide a contemporary language approach, ideal pronunciation, and cultural insights crucial for passing the DELF successfully.
How do you prepare for the DELF?
I use official DELF tests from previous years to assess your current language level and determine the tasks needed for preparation.
How to prepare for the DELF on your own?
DELF tasks do not include grammar questions.
They relate to everyday situations in France: understanding articles, listening to people speaking, writing letters, expressing your opinion…
Therefore, I recommend reading French newspapers, watching French TV channels, movies, and series.
How do you prepare for the AP French exam?
I utilize past official AP French exam tests to evaluate your current language proficiency and identify the necessary preparation tasks.
How to prepare for the AP French exam on your own?
The AP French exam does not feature specific grammar questions.
To prepare effectively, immerse yourself in the language by reading French newspapers, watching French TV channels, movies, and series, and consistently practicing both writing and speaking in French.
Additionally, consider engaging in conversations with native French speakers and using language learning apps to enhance your proficiency.
